Reglindis Rauca

Reglindis Rauca (* 1967 in Plauen ) is a German writer and theater actress .

life and work

After high school and vocational training, Reglindis Rauca studied acting, a. a. at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . From 1990 engagements took her to, among others, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , the Westfälische Kammerspiele Paderborn and the Komödie Düsseldorf .

In 2008 her debut novel "Vuchelbeerbaamland" was published. For this she received the 2008 Prize for Literature from the State Capital Düsseldorf.

Reglindis Rauca has lived as a freelance writer and lecturer in Potsdam since 2011. Her literary themes include dealing with recent German history ( GDR , German unity ) and the Nazi era. She is a member of the Association of German Writers .
