Reijirō Koroku

Reijirō Koroku ( Japanese 小 六 禮 次郎 , Koroku Reijirō ; born December 13, 1949 in Okayama in Okayama Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese composer .

biography

Reijirō Koroku studied at the Conservatory of Tōkyō Geijutsu Daigaku . Since then he has worked as an arranger and composer. So he wrote the music for operas, songs, theatrical performances, video games, and television and film productions. For his music on The White Wolf and Gekido no 1750 nichi , he was nominated for a Japanese Academy Award in 1991 as best film composer .

Koroku is married to actress Chieko Baisho .
