Pure landlord

Reiner Haussherr (born March 15, 1937 in Berlin ; † October 6, 2018 also) was a German art historian .

Reiner Haussherr, son of the historian Hans Haussherr (1898–1960), began his studies after graduating from high school in Halle in 1955 in Berlin and then moved to Göttingen in 1958 and to Bonn in 1959 , where he received his doctorate in 1962 under Herbert von Eine (Der tote Christus am Cross. On the iconography of the Gero cross ). After completing his doctorate, he first went to Paris and returned to Bonn as a research assistant. From 1976 to 1980 he taught as a professor of art history at the University of Kiel , from Bonn he brought his assistant Eberhard König with him. From 1981 until his retirement he taught at the Free University of Berlin .

He was a member of the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz.
