Reinhard Harrasser
Reinhard Harrasser (born April 6, 1967 ) is an Italian athlete from South Tyrol .
At first he was a middle-distance runner and set the current South Tyrolean records over 800 m (1: 50.06 on September 1, 1999 in Rovereto ) and 1500 m (3: 45.4 on August 4, 1998 in Trento ).
He later switched to long-distance running and specialized in the marathon . Together with Hermann Achmüller , he won the South Tyrol Marathon in 2:19:26 in 2004, and in the same year he won the Munich Marathon . In 2005 he repeated his victory at the South Tyrol Marathon.
For professional and family reasons, he does most of his training on a treadmill in his basement.
