Reinhard Mühlbacher (* 1943 in Elsterwerda ) is a German entertainer and singer. On GDR television he was part of the regular cast of the program " Klock 8, aft Strom ", which made him very popular across the country.

biography

Born in the small town of Elsterwerda in southern Brandenburg , Mühlbacher completed a course in entertainment art by 1962. At first he only sang a few recordings in the radio studios. In 1962 a first single was released by AMIGA , after which its title "Every night in Paris" was published. René Dubianski drew here as a composer and lyricist . A short time later, Reinhard Mühlbacher became very popular across the country, as his first television appearances soon followed. In 1964, the maritime television program "Klock 8, achter Strom" , which was very well known in the GDR and starring Horst Köbbert , was broadcast on German television . Reinhard Mühlbacher was part of the regular ensemble here for a long time, which is why some of his songs were also published on long-playing records. His singing partners here included Hartmut Eichler , Monika Hauff , Bert Hendrix and Horst Köbbert.

Mühlbacher withdrew from the public at the end of the 1970s and is said to have mainly worked for radio.
