Monika Hauff
Monika Hauff (born April 17, 1944 in Wernigerode ) is a German singer . Together with Klaus-Dieter Henkler, she forms the Berlin singing and moderation duo Hauff and Henkler . The duo has recorded over 300 songs and sold more than ten million records. In 2013 and 2014 Hauff & Henkler celebrated their 45th stage anniversary as a duo.
Career
Monika Hauff laid her musical foundation in the radio youth choir Wernigerode under the direction of Friedrich Krell . After attending the extended secondary school and training as a medical-technical assistant in Saalfeld , Thuringia , where she also lived for several years, Monika Hauff sang in various bands. In 1967 she won first prize at the International Schlagerfestival der Ostseeländer in Rostock . In the same year the singer recorded the Amiga song About us, the star of love shines brightly from Walter Eichenberg and Harro Korth . In 1968 she came to the studio for entertainment art and won a 2nd prize at the International Schlagerfestival der Ostseeländer in Rostock. At the beginning of the same year, together with Klaus-Dieter Henkler - before founding the duo "Hauff & Henkler" - she produced the song Tausendfragen by Jürgen Heider and Harro Korth for the Berliner Rundfunk .
After reunification, she appeared in television programs such as So Schön Unser Deutschland ( ZDF ) and Big Request Concert of Folk Music ( Sat.1 ).
The album That Was a Master's Shot - Our Great Mood Hits was released in 1996. In 1998 the album Leise rieselt der Schnee followed . In 2000 the album Nur für dich (Hauff & Henkler) was released.
