Reinhard Pachner

Reinhard Pachner (born April 23, 1944 in Schwarzbach im Böhmerwald ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ). From 2002 to 2013 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

Reinhard Pachner attended elementary school from 1950 to 1958 . He then completed an agricultural apprenticeship between 1958 and 1961, and then from 1961 to 1964 he went on to study at the Higher Agricultural School in Landsberg . From 1964 to 1966 he did his military service in the Bundeswehr . From 1966 to 1975 he worked as a consultant in the dairy industry and since 1975 in the senior service in the agricultural administration. He has been with the Ministry of Agriculture since 1984, and since 1991 as a senior official. He is Roman Catholic, married and has one child.

politics

Reinhard Pachner joined the CSU in 1972. He has been deputy district chairman of the CSU in Aichach-Friedberg since 1996 and was for his party on the city council in Friedberg from 1978 to 2004 . From 1990 to 1996 he was 2nd mayor in Friedberg. From May 2002 to April 2014 he was also a member of the Aichach-Friedberg district council.

Reinhard Pachner had been a member of the state parliament since May 1, 2002 . There he sat for his group as a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport and the Committee on Public Service Issues. In the state elections in Bavaria in 2003 (CSU 60.7%, SPD 19.6%) he was directly elected as a direct candidate for the constituency of Aichach-Friedberg ( constituency of Swabia ).

In the Bavarian state elections in September 2008 , Pachner - contrary to previous announcements (and agreements) - stood again and was nominated by the CSU delegates with a 96-89 vote. He was re-elected to the Bavarian state parliament (despite the loss of votes by the CSU - it got 43.4% of the votes nationwide).

In the 2008 electoral term he was a member of the State Parliament's Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry and the Committee on Environment and Health.

He did not run for the Bavarian state election on September 15, 2013 ; in the district of Aichach-Friedberg ran for the CSU Peter Tomaschko.

Honors

Pachner was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. The city of Friedberg made him an honorary citizen in 2014.
