Reinhard Wendemuth (born January 1, 1948 in Braunschweig ) is a former German rower . He won the 1974 World Championship bronze in a four-man without a helmsman .

Wendemuth started for the rowing club Hansa from 1898 (Dortmund). In 1971 he won his first German championship title with the eighth . After becoming German champion in 1972 in the four without a helmsman and in the four with a helmsman, Wendemuth competed at the 1972 Olympic Games as the batsman of the Germany eight , the boat took fifth place in front of a home crowd on the Oberschleißheim regatta course after it had been on for a long time the medal places.
