Reinhard Wilmbusse

Reinhard Wilmbusse (born October 1, 1932 in Waddenhausen ; † February 21, 2014 in Lemgo ) was a German politician and member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school with the Abitur , he passed the Rechtspfleger examination in 1956 and worked in this profession until 1975, most recently as a judicial officer.

Wilmbusse had been a member of the SPD since 1965, and since 1975 also a member of the public services, transport and traffic union .

MP

From May 28, 1975 to November 30, 1994 Wilmbusse was a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituencies 150 Lippe III and 114 Lippe II. During the eleventh electoral term, he left the state parliament, as he became the full-time mayor of Lemgo.

He was a member of the city council of Lemgo from 1969 and was the local mayor from 1971 to 1999 .

Reinhard Wilmbusse died in Lemgo on the night of February 21, 2014.
