Reinhold Bäßler

Reinhold Bäßler (born January 30, 1913 in Stammheim near Ludwigsburg ; † July 21, 1969 in Düsseldorf ) was a German lawyer, NS student functionary and insurance manager.

Life

Reinhold Bäßler studied law at the universities of Tübingen , Berlin and Munich from 1931 to 1935 . In 1931 he became a member of the Normannia Tübingen Association and in 1932 of the National Socialist German Student Union . In 1933 he joined the SA and in 1937 became a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 4,805,709) and the SS (SS number 290.159). From 1937 to 1942 he was the student leader of Württemberg-Hohenzollern . In 1939 he passed the second state examination in law and from May 1939 headed the Reichsförderung of the Reichsstudentenwerk . In the same year he was promoted to SS-Obersturmführer. In 1940 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht and later promoted to lieutenant .

In 1941 he received his doctorate from the University of Tübingen. jur. PhD . In 1943 he was discharged from the Wehrmacht after being wounded. Also in 1943 he left the church and from 1943 to 1945 headed the Office for Political Education in the Reich Student Leadership . In 1945 he was promoted to SS-Hauptsturmführer.

After the Second World War , Reinhold Bäßler worked in the insurance industry. He first worked at Allianz Versicherung and from 1953 at Victoria Feuer-Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft . From 1963 he was a member of the board of the Victoria Feuer-Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft and was on the board of the German nuclear reactor insurance company .
