Reinhold Boschert (born February 6, 1947 in Freudenstadt ) is a former German long jumper .

Career

Boschert, who started for SV Stuttgarter Kickers , had his most successful period in 1968. He won the German Junior Championships in Hanau with a width of 7.25 m and the silver medal at the German Championships . With a width of 8.01 m at a junior competition in Flagstaff on September 29 , he traveled as the new German record holder to the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City . In the long jump competition , Boschert took twelfth place with 7.89 m.

Boschert was also able to achieve success in the following year. So he became German champion with a width of 7.73 m. Born in Freudenstadt, he was also successful in the hall, winning bronze at the German Indoor Championships in Dortmund . At the Württemberg indoor championships he won with a width of 7.62 m. In 1970 Boschert was Wuerttemberg and in 1972 South German master.

Personal

Boschert married the high jumper Renate Pietschmann in September 1974 , who also competed for the Kickers. However, he divorced her again.
