Reinhold Nedoschil (born November 2, 1939 ) is a former German soccer player who, as an active member of the Karlsruher SC in the soccer Oberliga Süd, played 42 games from 1959 to 1963 and scored 21 goals.

career

Karlsruhe, until 1963

From the KSC youth through the amateur team, the path of the young striker Reinhold Nedoschil led in December 1959 to the contract players of the Baden southern upper division. Belonging to the amateur team, which played in the 2nd amateur league Mittelbaden, the 20-year-old wing talent was first used on the left wing by coach Eduard Frühwirth in the catch-up game day on December 27, 1959, in the away game against Eintracht Frankfurt . Together with Willy Reitgaßl , Günter Herrmann , Reinhold Wischnowsky and Friedel Späth he formed the KSC storm. Despite the 1: 4 defeat, the KSC continued to lead the table and celebrated the championship at the end of the round.

His best year was the following round in 1960/61 , in which he was part of the Baden team from the start. For the defense, the presidium had brought in two new players with Manfred Paul and Willi Rihm and in the attack they relied on the existing players Reitgaßl, Herrmann, Wischnowsky, Späth, Reiner, Schmitt and the talent Nedoschil raised by their own amateurs. On the third match day, August 28, 1960, the powerful attacker with a good shot came in the away game against SSV Jahn Regensburg for his first appearance in this round. In the seventh minute he brought the KSC 1-0 lead, but the Oberpfälzer won the game with 2-1 goals. The defending champion won the following home game against Eintracht Frankfurt 5-2, Nedoschil stormed on the left wing and distinguished himself as a three-time goalscorer. He had the same success in the home game against SSV Reutlingen on September 18, also won 5-2 goals . So it was not surprising that coach Frühwirth also bet on the new goal scorer from the wildlife park in the games for the DFB Cup . Nedoschil was in the KSC-Elf on September 21, 1960 in the semifinals with a 2-0 victory - Gustav Witlatschil scored both goals - eliminated the FK Pirmasens and moved into the cup final . In the final, which took place on October 5th in Düsseldorf against Borussia Mönchengladbach , he and Friedel Späth formed the left wing of the Karlsruhe team. Due to injury, Baden had to do without the strong goalkeeper Manfred Paul and the robust center forward Reinhold Wischnowsky and lost the game - national player Albert Brülls showed an outstanding performance at the Bökelbergelf and won the game-winning duel against Horst Szymaniak - with 2: 3 goals. In the league, KSC came third behind 1. FC Nürnberg and Eintracht Frankfurt and Nedoschil had scored 15 goals in 22 games.

In the 1961/62 round he could not repeat this quota. He scored five goals in 13 appearances. Outstanding was the 3-0 home win on February 18, 1962 against the leaders from Nuremberg, when newcomer Jupp Marx scored three goals and stormed Nedoschil on the left wing. In the last year of the old first-class league system, 1962/63, Kurt Sommerlatt was a new man in charge of the coaching scepter. Since the KSC with Otto Geisert , Joachim Thimm and the hopeful youth national player Horst Wild had three new offensive forces at their disposal, Nedoschil's chances of action dwindled considerably. The KSC took fifth place and was nominated for the new Bundesliga for the 1963/64 round, Nedoschil had scored a goal in six games. In his last competitive game for KSC, on April 7, 1963, in the home game against BC Augsburg, he scored the 3-2 winner in the 87th minute of the game. Nedoschil joined the 1963/64 round of TuRa Ludwigshafen in the Southwest Regional Football League .

Regionalliga, 1963 to 1968

TuRa opened the round on August 4, 1963 with a home game against SV Röchling Völklingen . The game ended in a 1-1 draw, Nedoschil had put his new team 1-0 ahead. At the end of the round, TuRa was in 12th place and the man from KSC had scored 15 goals in 35 games. Since the two Ludwigshafen regional league clubs Phönix and TuRa merged on May 28, 1964 and started the new round in 1964/65 as Südwest Ludwigshafen , Nedoschil played three rounds for SV Südwest from 1964 to 1967. In the first year he scored 17 goals in 27 league games for the fusion club and Südwest took fifth place. In 1966, the year of the football World Cup, his sporting result was okay with 21 appearances and eleven goals. But in 1966/67 under the new trainer Reinhold Fanz (senior) he was no longer a member of the Southwest regular eleven. He only came to six games and scored one goal. That is why he accepted the offer of FSV Frankfurt from the regional soccer league south and moved to the Bornheimer Hang in the summer of 1967.

In addition to Nedoschil, the FSV recorded five more newcomers with Erwin Drescher, Günter Heiden, Manfred Nehren, Gerhard Weil and the former substitute keeper of the Karlsruher SC, Erich Wolf , and wanted nothing to do with the relegation battle from the start under the athletic leadership of coach Heinz Baas have to do, but rather look ahead in the table. After the seventh game day, the Bornheimers were there with a depressing 2:12 points and the relegation battle fully determined the program of the black and blue in this round. Reinhold Nedoschil was responsible for the first double point win with his hit in the 16th minute on October 1, 1967 in the home game against SV Wiesbaden on the eighth game day. Nedoschil moved back into the defense in the further lap, often playing left wing runner, but the FSV did not manage to recover. Coach Baas was replaced by Philipp Nold on March 17, 1968 - Nedoschil was out due to illness from March 3 to April 13, 1968 - and the Frankfurt team lost on the final day, May 12, 1968, by a 0-1 home defeat against SV Waldhof Mannheim relegation. His last competitive game for FSV Nedoschil completed as a substitute for Walter Szaule on April 21, 1968 in the 1: 2 home defeat against SSV Reutlingen. He had played 23 games and scored two goals. After the 1967/68 round, he ended his career.
