Remberto Iriarte Paz

Remberto Iriarte Paz (* 1919 ) is a former Bolivian general and diplomat.

Life

Secret police of René Barrientos had Régis Debray , the photographer George Andrew Roth (* 1923, † 2003) and the artist Ciro Bustos in the early morning of 20 April 1967 Muyupampa arrested. In August 1967 Remberto Iriarte Paz acted as prosecutor at the war council in Camiri and demanded 30 years in prison. From December 17, 1969 to August 1971, he was ambassador to Buenos Aires . The coup of Hugo Banzer Suárez made him commander of the armed forces of Bolivia . From 1973 to 1974 he was ambassador to Rome and Banzer's representative to the FAO .

From October 11, 1974 to 1975 he was ambassador to Madrid, from 1984 to October 19, 1991 Ambassador of Víctor Paz Estenssoro to Alfredo Stroessner in Asunción .
