Remco Olde Heuvel
Remco Olde Heuvel (born November 24, 1983 in Losser ) is a Dutch speed skater .
Remco Olde Heuvel starts for the Dutch professional team Team Telfort . His brother Wouter Olde Heuvel is also a speed skater. He has been active internationally since 2000. In 2002 he started at the Junior World Championships in Klobenstein and won the bronze medals in the little four-way competition and in the team competition. A year later he won gold in the small four-way battle in Kushiro, Japan, and again bronze with the team. In November 2005, Olde Heuvel was used for the first time in the World Cup. So far, he has only competed there on the 1000-meter course and in team competition. On his first outing in Calgary , he took second place with the team that also included Rintje Ritsma and Jochem Uytdehaage . Two weeks later he was tenth in Milwaukee over 1000 meters and thus took his first top placement on an individual course. In December 2005, he won his first World Cup race in Inzell .
