Remembering Never is an American band that was founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida ( USA ) in the late 1990s and whose musical style can be assigned to metalcore influenced by hardcore punk .
history
After the formation and some local appearances, the band released their first EP Suffocates My Words to You in 2001 on the One Day Savior Recordings label . A year later, after producer Carl Severson became aware of the band, the debut album She Looks So Good in Red was released on Ferret Records . This was followed by tours with On Broken Wings , Evergreen Terrace , Between the Buried and Me , Alexisonfire and Every Time I Die .
The second album entitled Women and Children Die First (Ferret Records) was released in 2004 and had much more serious lyrics than its predecessor. The band then played several tours, including co-headlining a tour sponsored by PETA with Most Precious Blood .
In the fall of 2005, the band went back into the studio to record the third album entitled God Save Us , which was also released on February 21, 2006 on Ferret Records. Textually, both personal and socially critical topics are dealt with.
