Remus Gergel

Remus Gergel (* 1974 ) is a German Anglicist .

Life

After graduating as Dr. phil. in Tübingen in 2005 and habilitation at the University of Tübingen in 2010, he became professor in Graz in 2012 and in Saarbrücken in 2016.

His research specializations are syntax, semantics and their interface (s) (varieties, morphology, information structure, etc.), language change - corpus linguistics and theoretical modeling of historical processes, Germanic, Romance and comparative linguistics and comparative syntax and semantics.
