René Boese (born February 28, 1984 ) is a German handball player .

Boese came to Eintracht Hildesheim in 2004 through the youth team of LHC Cottbus . With this team Boese rose to the Bundesliga for the 2006/2007 season . When Hildesheim had to leave the upper house of the league at the end of the season, Boese switched to the Berliner Füchsen . In summer 2009 he moved to 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch . From August 2010 he played at SC DHfK Leipzig . He has been under contract with HC Elbflorenz since summer 2015 . In the summer of 2018 he switched to the 2nd team of HC Elbflorenz.

The student's greatest success to date is likely to be winning the European Junior Championship in Riga in 2004. In the final, which Germany won 27:26 against Denmark, Boese threw two goals. His playing position is right winger .
