René E. Mueller

René E. Mueller (born May 3, 1929 in Bern as Ernst René Müller ; † February 6, 1991 in Kovalam ; resident in Boltigen ) was a Swiss writer and life artist .

Life

In his childhood he was administratively cared for as an ineducible person . From 1934 to 1982 he was under guardianship . In 1959 he met Friedrich Dürrenmatt in the Bern Atelier-Theater , where Mueller worked as a stage manager . Dürrenmatt and Dieter Bührle supported his writing activities. He became known as a connoisseur of the non-conformist underground in Bern . On May 3, 1991, he died in the Hotel Neelakanta in the southern Indian beach town of Kovalam of an occlusion of constricted coronary arteries . Its ashes were scattered over the Indian Ocean .

In 1987 Mueller received the City of Bern Book Prize for 5000 francs for the volume of poetry Geliebte Tödin .
