Ren Jianxin

Ren Jianxin (born August 1925 in Xiangfen , Shanxi ) is a Chinese judge and was President of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China from 1988 to 1998 .

Life

Ren Jianxin studied law at the Chinese People's University in Beijing from 1946 to 1948 . He joined the Chinese Communist Party and was a party official at various levels. From 1988 to 1998, Ren Jianxin was President of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China, succeeding Zheng Tianxiang . He was succeeded by Xiao Yang .
