Renan Dal Zotto (born July 19, 1960 in São Leopoldo ) is a Brazilian volleyball player and coach.

Career as a player

Dal Zotto took part in the Olympic Games with the Brazilian national team three times in a row (1980, 1984 and 1988) and won the silver medal in Los Angeles in 1984 . Added to this are silver at the 1982 World Cup and victory at the 1983 Pan American Games .

Dal Zotto first played for Brazilian clubs, with which he became national champion and South American club champion. From 1988 to 1993 he played in Italy with Maxicono Parma and Il Messaggero Ravenna . He was Italian champion and cup winner twice, won all European club competitions ( European Champion Clubs 'Cup in 1993, European Cup Winners' Cup in 1989 and 1990 and CEV Cup in 1992) and the 1989 Club World Cup .

Renan has received several awards as "Best Attacker", "Best Defender" etc. In 2015 he was inducted into the " Volleyball Hall of Fame ".

Career as a coach

Dal Zotto has been a coach since 1993, with Brazilian clubs until 2007 and with Sisley Treviso in Italy in 2007/08 . He has been coaching the Brazilian national team since 2017.
