Renate Pelster

Renate Pelster (born May 19, 1951 in Marl , † May 1994 near Marl) was a German actress .

Life

Renate Pelster completed her acting training in Hanover. This was followed by stage engagements in Berlin and Bremen, before Peter Zadek brought her to the Hamburger Schauspielhaus in 1985 and had roles written especially for her in Yerma and Andi . She also played there under the direction of Wilfried Minks the Kattrin in Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage (next to Eva Mattes in the title role) and the daughter in Franz-Xaver Kroetz ' farm deaths .

In addition, she took on numerous roles in film and television productions such as Tatort , Dieter Hallervordens sketch show Nonstop Nonsens and Casanova (alongside Mario Adorf ), also in the production of the erotic comedy Wedding Night Report . She also worked as an assistant director for the sex film Die goldene Banana by Bad Porno .

Renate Pelster was reported missing on May 18, 1994. Days later, her body was found on a hidden embankment near her home town of Marl. She left two sons.
