Wedding Night Report is a German film by the director Hubert Frank from 1972. It is a variant of the more successful film series School Girl Report (see report film ).

action

A wedding party goes wrong. The ceremony, which was supposed to take place in a castle, has to be moved to a small inn due to bad weather. The bride is disappointed, but the rest of the company takes it easy.

The wedding celebration comes to an end and the newly wed couple retreats into their bedchamber. Then the last guests of the celebration sit together to tell the erotic stories of their own wedding nights.

Production notes

Wedding Night Report was created between April 17 and May 5, 1972 in Berlin and was premiered on August 11, 1972. The film structures were created by Oscar winner Hans-Jürgen Kiebach . Actor Reinhold Brandes died a few days after the shooting ended.

criticism

“What should be a 'comedy' turns out to be a depressing tragedy: while a wedding couple retreats into the bridal chamber, downstairs in the hall of the inn, the cheerful guests begin to tell the stories of their own wedding night. Summit point: A stupid village pastor lets himself be laicized in order to marry a landlord's daughter, while the betrayed husband becomes a pastor in order to bless the two 'marriage'. "

Remarks

The work was released in a DVD box together with two other films by the director.
