Reinhold Brandes

Reinhold Brandes (born June 15, 1928 in Berlin ; † May 18, 1972 ) was a German actor , screenwriter , writer , gag writer and cabaret artist .

Life

After his artistic training, Brandes had played under the direction of Hans Fitze at the Harburger Theater in Hamburg from 1950 to 1953 and during these years also worked temporarily in the administration of this stage and as a stage manager . A little later (1957) he made his first appearance in a movie: Sharks and Small Fish , then he played in the youth series Everything revolves around Michael . Brandes' also played Alfred Kernbach in the TV series Tanz-Café . He also worked in the Heinz Erhardt comedies Our Willi is the Best and Willi will swing the child with him and was also responsible for the script there. He also wrote the script for the ZDF series Doppelganger .

Reinhold Brandes made a name for himself above all as a cabaret artist with the porcupines , where he stood out with an unmistakable combination of Berlin boldness and pun. One program even made it to Israel (TV broadcast: 'Porcupines in Israel').

In addition to Rainer Brandt and Karlheinz Brunnemann , Brandes was also one of the dialog book authors of the 1969/70 crime series Your appearance, Al Mundy, broadcast on ZDF . He was one of the authors who established a new form of television synchronization in Schnodderdeutsch at the end of the 1960s .

Reinhold Brandes, who had also distinguished himself as a writer, was married to the actress Sonja Wilken . Both had met during their time together at the Harburg Theater.
