Renzo Marignano

Renzo Marignano (born March 26, 1923 in Genoa , † November 25, 1987 there ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Shortly after the end of the Second World War, Marignano founded the cinema club in his hometown and the production company "Cimofilm", which specialized in documentary films; The 1.90 m tall film enthusiast was also responsible as a director for some of them, such as the 1953 Boccadasse and Golf . In 1958 Marignano was production manager on the Ligurian coast for Wolfgang Staudte's cannon serenade , then he went to Rome, where he worked as an assistant director and actor for Pietro Germi and Mario Monicelli in the early 1960s . 1968 began an impressive number of film appearances in almost always comical supporting roles; his popularity was not enough to get more performance time.

Occasionally he is listed as Renzo Marignani .
