Reong is one of the Indonesian Barat Daya Islands ( Southwest Islands ) in the Banda Sea .

geography

Reong is located 800 meters northwest of the coast of Wetar Island . It has an area of ​​3.78 km² and reaches a height of 266 meters. Like the large neighboring island, Reong belongs to the ( Kecamatan ) Pulau-Pulau Wetar district in the administrative district ( Kabupaten ) of the southwestern Moluccas ( Maluku Province ).

Reong is uninhabited and administratively belongs to the Desa (approximately village) Nabar, which is based on the large neighboring island of Wetar.
