action

Max and Henry work in a laboratory on a machine that can make clones . With women, the two are unsuccessful. When the attractive journalist Kate is interested in her invention and visits the laboratory, Max accidentally makes a clone of the woman.

He takes the copy of Kate, which is outwardly identical to the original, but initially mentally on the level of a toddler, home with him. Here, under Max and Henry's influence, she quickly learns to behave like a man and, for example, to drink beer and to be interested in football. Eventually she becomes Max's lover too. But he realizes that he only wants the real Kate.

As laboratory manager Dr. Jonas discovers the Kate copy and realizes that his invention can also be used to clone humans, he brings both Kates under his control to present them as a scientific sensation he has created. Max and Henry save Kate by creating a clone of Dr. Create Jonas.

In the end, Max gets together with Kate and Henry with the Kate clone.

criticism

"Science fiction comedy with a few pretty ideas that drags along just as uninspired as it is without staging elegance"
