Report film
The report film is a sub-genre of sexploitation films that was primarily created in West Germany . The genre had its greatest success between 1970 and 1974.
Typically, the report films pretend to portray love life and sexual preferences within certain social or occupational groups - less often also a geographical region - and to show the unadulterated and often supposedly shocking truth about these topics. The truthfulness of the films was very questionable and in general the films were clearly to be recognized as fictitious. The films are set in the present day and mostly deal with female characters such as school girls, stewardesses, nurses and housewives.
In the course of the wave of sex and educational films triggered by Erwin C. Dietrich in 1966 , around 60 of these report films were made in the 1970s. The commercially successful film Schoolgirl Report Part 1 not only had 12 followers but also numerous imitators. This wave reached a high point in 1973 when a total of 15 report films were premiered. After that, the market for these films soon collapsed.
The report films were characterized by low costs and short shooting times for film producers. Thus produced Wolf C. Hartwig and his Rapid film a total of 15 such films (in addition to the 13 Schoolgirl Report films also leave report and keyhole Report ) and TV 13 many housewives report movies. For some actors, their participation turned out to be a career springboard, for example for Lisa Fitz , Sascha Hehn , Jutta Speidel and Heiner Lauterbach .
