content

The "Western Nekoya Restaurant" is located near a normal shopping street in Tokyo and offers a mix of European and Japanese cuisine. It is closed on the weekends - at least for the earthly visitors. Every Saturday the door of the restaurant creates a connection to a different, fairytale world. Doors appear in the Nekoya in several places around the world and its residents can enter to eat food from the strange world that is unusual for them and tastes good to everyone. Quite a few of the visitors are regulars who come back every week and keep ordering the same thing. But one day a weak demon gets lost in the kitchen after the shop closes. When the landlord finds her there after she fell asleep from eating the leftover food, he quickly hires her as the new waitress, because otherwise she has no place to stay or a job. In this way, the demoness, by the name of Aletta, gradually gets to know the regulars of the restaurant and repeatedly meets guests who are visiting the Nekoya for the first time and who are enthusiastic about its offerings.
