Reuchlin Prize

The Reuchlin Prize was donated by the city of Pforzheim in 1955 on the occasion of the 500th birthday of the city's most important son and has since been awarded every two years in cooperation with the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences for outstanding German-language work in the humanities. It is named after the Pforzheim-born humanist of the Renaissance , Johannes Reuchlin , and endowed with 10,000 euros (as of 2018).
