Reval One is brand of cigarettes of Reemtsma , which the tobacco company Imperial Tobacco Group PLC belongs. The inventor and original manufacturer of Reval was the Badische Tabakmanufaktur , which was incorporated into Reemtsma in 1985.
The protected packaging is characterized by a traditional blue label on a yellow background. However, the depicted coat of arms is not identical to that of the city of Tallinn , which was called Reval until 1918.
In 1976 a pack of Reval without a filter or with a filter with 20 cigarettes cost 2.30 DM. In 2014 the price was 5.40 € for 19 filterless cigarettes. In 2019 the price for a pack of 20 filterless cigarettes was € 6.80. The price for 20 cigarettes has been € 7.10 since 2020.
From the middle of May 2015 the brands Eckstein No. 5 , Juno and Salem No. 6 gradually transferred to the Reval brand.
In May 2016, the Reemtsma Group announced that production of the variant with a filter ( Reval Filter Golden Blend ) had been discontinued. The Reval without a filter continues to be manufactured. It is available in a soft pack and also as a fine cut in bags.
