Rewas Arweladze ( Georgian რევაზ არველაძე ; born September 15, 1969 in Tbilisi , Soviet Union ) is a former Georgian football player and current coach . The English transcription used at UEFA is Revaz Arveladze .

Rewas Arweladze is the older brother of the twins Artschil Arweladze and Schota Arweladze . He made two brief guest appearances in Germany during his career . After an outstanding performance in Dinamo Tiflis' dress at the Cologne indoor tournament in 1993, 1. FC Köln spontaneously signed him for the second half of the 1993/94 season. His achievements in the open air turned out to be a flash in the pan - at least in Germany. In 1994 he left FC and went to Tennis Borussia in Berlin . But even there he had to go again after a year. In FC 08 Homburg he found a new club for which he was allowed to hunt goals and at the same time shone as a game designer. He probably had his best athletic time in Germany in Saarland. Rot-Weiß Oberhausen brought him, who now played again for Dinamo Tiflis, in his squad for the 2nd Bundesliga in 1999 , but was only used twice.

After his football career, at the age of 30, he took over the position of coach at the Georgian record champions Dinamo Tbilisi in 2000 , making him the youngest head coach in Georgian football history.
