Titular diocese of Rhaedestus
Rhaedestus ( Italian : Rodosto ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an earlier diocese of the ancient city of Bisanthe (also Rhaidestos / Rhaideston) in Eastern Thrace , today Tekirdağ on the coast of the Sea of Marmara in the European part of Turkey . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Herakleia Sintike .
