The Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown ( lat. : Dioecesis Youngstoniensis ) is in the United States located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Youngstown , Ohio .

history

The diocese was founded on May 15, 1943 by Pope Pius XII. built from cession of the Diocese of Cleveland and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati as a suffragan .
