The Diocese of Tulsa ( Latin : Dioecesis Tulsensis ) located in the USA is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church with its seat in Tulsa , Oklahoma . It was built on December 13, 1972 from areas of the Diocese of Oklahoma City and is now subordinate to this as a suffragan diocese .
