The Diocese of Baker ( Latin Dioecesis Bakeriensis , English Diocese of Baker ) is a Roman Catholic diocese located in Oregon in the United States , with its seat in Baker .

Pope Leo XIII. founded the Diocese of Baker City on June 19, 1903 from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Oregon City , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.

It took on its current name on February 16, 1952.

The Diocese of Baker covers the counties Wasco, Klamath, Lake, Sherman, Gilliam, Wheeler, Morrow, Grant, Union, Crook, Umatilla, Wallowa, Baker, Harney and Malheur of the State of Oregon.
