The diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee ( Latin : Dioecesis Pensacolensis-Talloseiensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese located in Florida in the United States and has its seat in Pensacola .
history
Pope Paul VI founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Sapienter quidem on October 1, 1975 from cessions of territory from the dioceses of Saint Augustine and Mobile and it was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Miami as a suffragan diocese.

The diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee includes the counties of Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton and Washington of the state of Florida.
