The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux ( lat. : Dioecesis Humensis-Thibodensis ) is in the United States located Roman Catholic diocese based in Schriever .

It was taken out of the Archdiocese of New Orleans on March 2, 1977 . The diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is subordinate to this today as a suffragan .

The diocese includes the parishes of Lafourche , Terrebonne , as well as parts of the parishes of St. Mary and Jefferson .
