The diocese of Santa Rosa in California ( Latin Dioecesis Sanctae Rosae in California , English Diocese of Santa Rosa in California ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church based in Santa Rosa . The diocese was founded on January 13, 1962 by an assignment of territory from the Archdiocese of San Francisco .
The cathedral is the Cathedral of Saint Eugene in Santa Rosa.
