The Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas ( Latin Dioecesis Campensis , English Diocese of Las Vegas ) is in Nevada in the United States located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Las Vegas .
history
Pope John Paul II established it on March 21, 1995 by splitting the Diocese of Reno-Las Vegas into the Diocese of Reno and Diocese of Las Vegas and made it subject to the Archdiocese of San Francisco as a suffragan .

The diocese of Las Vegas includes the counties of Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, Nye, and White Pine of the state of Nevada.
