Rhenopteridae is a family of the suborder Stylonurina from the order of the sea ​​scorpions (Eurypterida) and the only family of the superfamily Rhenopteroidea .

features

In the species from the Rhenopteridae family, the rear edge of the metastoma was rounded. The prosomal limbs II to IV had short, firm spines, with only one being present on III. The prosomal members V and VI had no spines. The telson was short.

Locations

Representatives of the Rhenopteridae family have been found in Germany , Norway , Scotland and Wales .
