Rhenopterinae is a subfamily of the suborder Stylonurina from the order of the sea ​​scorpions (Eurypterida).

In the species from the subfamily Rhenopterinae, the rear edge of the metastoma was rounded. The prosomal limbs II and III had a short, fixed spines, with only one was present at III. The prosomal limbs IV to VI had no spines. The post abdomen was caudal and the telson short.
