Herbert Rhom
Herbert Rhom , also spelled Rohm and birth name Herbert Reiterer (born August 16, 1943 in Graz , Styria , † July 24, 2016 in Munich ) was an Austrian theater actor .
Life
Herbert Rhom (original surname Reiterer) was born in Graz and grew up there with his older brothers Harald and Alfred Reiterer . After graduating from drama school in Graz, he moved to Innsbruck , where he was engaged for several years at the Tyrolean State Theater with director Helmut Wlasak . At the beginning of 1970 he was discovered and engaged by Kurt Meisel , director at the Residenztheater . Here he was a long-time member of the ensemble. Herbert Rhom also worked at theaters in Freiburg and Berlin at times.
