Rhos-fawr is a village on the Lleyn Peninsula ( Pen Llŷn ) in County Gwynedd , Wales . The place belongs to the large municipality Llannor and is about 6 km as the crow flies north of Pwllheli and 4 km northeast of Llannor in the middle of the peninsula. A caravan and camping area is located directly in the village. The nearest train stations are Pwllheli and Abererch .
The place should not be confused with the Rhos-Fawr , a mountain in the Cambrian Mountains in County Powys .
