Ricarda Drüeke

Ricarda Drüeke (* 1976 ) is a communication scientist .

Life and work

Ricarda Drüeke studied political science, sociology and art history in Marburg and Hamburg from 1995 to 2000. From May 1999 to 2001 she was an advisor to the former member of the Bundestag and parliamentary manager of the SPD parliamentary group Andrea Hilgers in the town council of Hamburg.

From 2002 to 2007 she was a research assistant in various research projects at the Universities of Hamburg and Frankfurt / Oder. In 2012 he did his doctorate with the topic “Political Communication Spaces on the Internet. Reflections on space and public in the context of the migration debate about Arigona Zoga . ”At the University of Salzburg with Elisabeth Klaus and Ulla Wischermann . Since then she has taught at the University of Warsaw and has been a visiting scholar at Linköping University and Cornell University . Since March 2012 Drüeke has been an assistant professor in the communication science department at the University of Salzburg. Her main research areas to date have been online communication, public theories and gender studies .
