Ricardo Alexandre dos Santos , called Ricardinho or Mosquitinho Azul , (born June 24, 1976 in Passos , Minas Gerais ) is a former Brazilian football player . In his career he won various national and international championships.

He played most of his career for the Cruzeiro EC from Belo Horizonte . For the foxes from Mians Gerais, he is said to have played 411 games in various competitions and scored 45 goals.

After his active career, Ricardinho went to the United States from 2008 to 2011. He studied English there. After his return he worked for Grendene , a manufacturer of sandals, as a dealer in Belo Horizonte and part of Minas Gerais. Due to an ankle surgery, Ricardinho can only play football to a limited extent in his free time. He denied interest in working as a trainer in an interview in 2016, although he occasionally had inquiries.
