References and comments
- ^ Mexican seasonal articles on RSSSF and Mexico - List of Super Cup Winners , also on RSSSF. It should be noted that RSSSF calls him Leopoldo Escandón in some seasons; so also in the two seasons 1950/51 and 1951/52, when, according to other sources, he won the cup with Atlante (see the article Las Copas de Cruz Azul y Atlante from April 10, 2013), while RSSSF won him in the 1951 Supercup finals as Leopoldo and 1952 as Ricardo. If you compare the few other sources with each other (including the two seasonal articles 1948/49 and 1950/51 in the Spanish-language Wikipedia, which also names Ricardo Escandón as one of the top scorers of the respective seasons), RSSSF may be mistaken for his older brother Leopoldo to be assumed.
