Ricardo Da Force
Ricardo da Force (born April 30, 1967 in London , United Kingdom - † March 8, 2013 in Barbados ; actually Jervis Ricardo Alfonso Lyte ) was a British rapper and DJ . He became known through the music video Justified and Ancient by the group The KLF .
Life
He was born in London, where he grew up. Discovered by Paul Oakenfold , he worked as a rapper and DJ - often as a background or guest singer - member of various groups, bands and ensembles: Da Force played with Clubzone, Groovelux SoulSounds, Dr. Baker, Fire Island, Vitamino, X-Press II, Ramp, Greed, Trancylvania and N-Trance .
Among the most famous artists he sang with were The KLF , with whom he recorded three songs, including Justified and Ancient , his most famous number ever, alongside Tammy Wynette . He was also heard in a song by Adamski .
He has also written some songs and played as a DJ in famous places such as Dubai , Ibiza and Mykonos .
Da Force died on the night of March 8, 2013 at the age of 45 of complications from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried in a cemetery in Barbados.
