Richard Dohse

Richard Dohse (born May 25, 1875 in Lübz ; † November 4, 1928 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German educator and author.

Richard Dohse was a son of master bricklayer Gustav Dohse, who died early. The mother then moved to Parchim , where Dohse attended the Realprogymnasium. He then went to the Realgymnasium in Güstrow , where he graduated from high school in 1894. He studied modern languages, German and history in Munich , Marburg , Geneva and Rostock and received his doctorate. During his studies in 1895 he became a member of the Marburg Burschenschaft Rheinfranken . After graduating in Rostock, Dohse was a teacher in Malchin , Frankfurt am Main and Kassel . From 1901 he was a senior teacher at the Sachsenhausen high school.

Dohse gave the anthologies "Mecklenburgisches Dichterbuch" (Berlin 1903) and "Meerumschlungen. A literary home book ”(Hamburg, 1907).
