Richard Dougherty
Richard Leo Dougherty (born August 5, 1932 in International Falls , Minnesota - † November 23, 2016 ) was an American ice hockey player .
Career
Richard Dougherty attended the University of Minnesota . He then took part for the US national ice hockey team at the World Championships in 1955 and 1957 and at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo . At the 1956 Winter Games, he and his team won the silver medal. In 2003 he was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame .
