Richard Gehrig (born February 27, 1897 in Aidhausen ; † unknown) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending primary school in Aidhausen, Richard Gehrig learned the carpentry trade. From 1914 to 1916 he worked in agriculture. He then took part in the First World War from 1916 to 1918 with the 9th Battalion of the 11th Reserve Field Artillery Regiment, in which he was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd class , among other things .

After the war Gehrig worked as a servant in agriculture and from 1921 as an independent farmer in Lendershausen . Between 1936 and 1938 he moved to Heilgersdorf as a self-employed farmer .

From November 1933 until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945, Gehrig sat as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented constituency 26 (Franconia). He was also a member of the district council of Lower Franconia .
